Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 Miesha Theresa Tate, born August 18, 1986, is an American mixed martial artist. She competes in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as well as being an ex- UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was earlier a Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion. She was also the vice president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked in the top 10 in the UFC women’s bantamweight rankings as on October 3, 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb of Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and husband Robert Schmidt. Tate was a typical tomboy in her youth and often played in the playgrounds with boys.
